Tennessee - Respiratory Therapy License Requirements
Tennessee requires
12 CEU hours required every year.
1 CEU hour must be on Patient safety.
1 CEU hour must be on Ethics.
5 CEU hours must be on clinical practice of respiratory care
5 CEU hours must be Live
Mandatory Courses:
1 CEU hour must be on Patient Safety
1 CEU hour must be on Ethics
5 CEU hours must be on clinical practice of respiratory care
License Renewal Date:
Your license will expire every 2 years on the last day of your biorth month

You are correct. For California RT's, the ethics course must come from the State board of California or the AARC. You can find the AARC ethics course here
