New York - Respiratory Therapy License Requirements
New York requires
Respiratory Therapists:
30 CEU hours required every 3 years.
15 CEU hours must be Live courses.
The remaining 15 hours can either be Online or Live courses.
Respiratory Therapy Technicians:
24 CEU hours required every 3 years.
12 CEU hours must be Live courses.
The remaining 12 hours can either be Online or Live courses.
Mandatory Courses:
No mandatory courses (i.e Ethics or Patient Safety) required at this time.
License Renewal Date:
Your license will expire on or before the last day of the month when it was given, every 3 years.

Yes! Our Human Trafficking course has been approved by the state of Texas to meet the new Texas Medical Board requirement.

You are correct. For California RT's, the ethics course must come from the State board of California or the AARC. You can find the AARC ethics course here
