District Of Columbia - Respiratory Therapy License Requirements
District Of Columbia requires
16 hours every 2 years
No more than 8 hours should be online.
8 hours should be Live.
Mandatory Courses:
Every renewal must includet the following:
2 hours of Ethics courses
2 hours of LGBTQ courses
License Renewal Date:
Licenses expire on January 31st of odd numbered years

You are correct. For California RT's, the ethics course must come from the State board of California or the AARC. You can find the AARC ethics course here
