California - Respiratory Therapy License Requirements
California requires
For your initial renewal you only need 15 Hours. For every renewal after your initial one you will need 30 hours.
15 Hours must be Live CEU Hours - our Live CEU hours meets this requirement
The remaining 15 hours can be either Live or Online Courses
Mandatory Courses:
For every other renewal California requires you take an Ethics course that is offered by the AARC or the California Board of Respiratory Care. You can find the AARC course HERE
California now requires 10 CEUs on RCP Leadership with every renewal. We have Online courses to meet this requirement. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Online Courses page and you'll see five courses that have a California State Logo on the bottom left corner.

You are correct. For California RT's, the ethics course must come from the State board of California or the AARC. You can find the AARC ethics course here
